Insurance Marketing Strategies To Kickstart Your Agency

Let's get your agency kickstarted with the insurance marketing strategies that work. Making a system that is based on the internet is how to kickstart your agency.

Well the good news is that you are actually taking a proactive approach and trying to learn about how to get into the top insurance marketing strategies to market your agency. Whether if you are a new agent and just starting out, or a veteran agent, we all need to understand what marketing strategies are actually working today.

Here are the insurance marketing strategies that work!

If your buying internet leads, you are doing something on the right path, but I bet that it is probably not working as well as you were hoping. You understand the basics that people are on the internet searching for insurance. This is exactly where you need to start. The great thing is that someone else has already done the work for you to get the leads, but the bad news is that you have to pay for the lead and you are competing against other agents. You are probably closing 1 in 10 or maybe 1 in 6 if you are really lucky. Buying internet leads is one of my top performing insurance marketing strategies, but to make it succeed, you need to have a really good email / autoresponder to drive and close the sale for you. Autoresponders keep you in touch with the lead over and over for weeks and months, until they are ready to buy. The best thing about this, is that you set up the system one time, and it does the work for you.

Now that you know that people use the internet for researching, pricing and buying their insurance, you need to get free leads from the internet from your own special website. Your website needs to be on the 1st page of Google or it's doing absolutely nothing for you. Your website needs to be special. It just can't be an information site, that comes from you captive insurance company. You need to make it special by quote forms and free opt-in forms. The goal is to get quote request and build a lead list. Remember the key for a successful website on the internet is to get it highly ranked, drive traffic, and capture lead information to build prospect lists.

Facebook is the king of social media. Social media doesn't bring in the sales like a great website, but it turns buyers into long term customers. But of course it is a huge business growth machine. The best thing is that Facebook is changing the way insurance agencies do business. Forget about the ideas of Facebook gossip. You can actually make a Facebook business page that advertises you agency.

A few other ideas that I have implemented is video and article marketing. These resources get your message and agency name out there on the internet, so people will see your agency everywhere on the web.
